The Pittsburgh Recovery Walk celebrates the many roads to recovery from addiction and all those who have traveled them. It aims to dispel negative stigma associated with being in recovery from addiction and recognize recovery as a positive force in our community.
The 2018 Recovery Walk takes place in September as part of National Recovery Month.
When? The Pittsburgh Recovery Walk will take place on September 15, 2018 from 8:00am – 1:00pm.
Who? The Pittsburgh Recovery Walk is free and open to the public. Everyone whose life has been touched by addiction or recovery is invited to join our city-wide celebration.
Where? The Pittsburgh Recovery Walk begins at 11th and Waterfront (just north of Smallman St. in the Strip District) and proceeds down Penn to Market Square and a Recovery Expo, loaded with activities, speakers, and entertainment.
Why? Addiction affects everyone – but so does recovery.
