Mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends are invited to join the board, staff, and mothers of Sojourner House for our 4th Annual Victorian Tea on Saturday, March 29, 2008, from noon to 2 p.m., at Amici Ristorante, 860 Saw Mill Run Boulevard. Tea and refreshments will be served at 12:30 p.m. followed by a program.

Those attending are invited to wear their prettiest tea attire (hats optional) as they enjoy a delightful, delicious tea and luncheon including cookies and scones provided by Pittsburgh area teahouses and food retailers. Mrs. Ruth Anne Papa and Ms. Odelfa Preston are the honorary co-chairs of this year's Victorian Tea.

During the program, those attending will learn about the award-winning work of Sojourner House and the inspiring mothers and children who live there. Sojourner House's Annual "Pearl of Hope" award will be presented to Norma Radol Raff, who was Executive Director of Sojourner House for over 16 years and has been distinguished many times for her support of women and families touched by addiction.

During this event, participants will be asked to consider supporting Sojourner House with a contribution or by giving their time to volunteer. There is no charge for admission, but reservations are required by March 25, by calling (412) 441-7783.
