Summertime Fun at Sojourner House MOMS

There's no such thing as a lazy summer here at Sojourner House MOMS! The children stayed busy this summer with fun and educational activities at MOMS day camp, generously supported by Homeless Children's Education Fund. The camp lasted five weeks and included activities like cooking, dance, and foreign language instruction, as well as outdoor activities.

 
Our children were also invited to participate in East Liberty Vacation Bible Study at East Liberty Presbyterian Church and the Summer Dreamers Academy hosted by Pittsburgh Public Schools. Both camps offered kids the opportunity to meet new friends and enjoy projects and activities outside our facility.
 
The MOMS families will be ending the summer with field trips to The Carnegie Science Center and Idlewild Park.
